Bella Famille Collections - Family Art Creations

We know it's never easy to get extended family together for a large family portrait....one with the grandparents and great-grandchildren, and everyone in-between. So what would you say if a generational family photo could be done without everyone having to be at the same location at the same time, and have it be a unique print to boot? Let us present Bella Famille Collections - Family Art Creations.

We're very excited about the addition of this line to our studio! These are panoramic family images where the individual families are photographed separately at their convenience, and we merge them together for a final image. This is a great option for families who live in different towns or states, who work different schedules, have children off at college, etc. Whether it's 8 people or 18, we'll do our best to work out a composite image that you'll love! Bella Famille Collections come in a couple of different sizes (up to a 16x48 inch image) as either a framed print or gallery wrapped canvas. Click on the image below to see a larger version of one of our Bella Famille Collections!

Ms K :)

We love when babies we shot as newborns come back to see us! We get to see how much they've grown, and we get to catch up with their parents. We did Ms. K's newborns, back in January...how cute is she?!?! Thanks to her mom and dad (and grandma too) for bringing her by today! :)

Retouching & Digital Make-up

I've said over and over again that there is a reason I am a photographer....because I'd rather be BEHIND the camera than in FRONT of it. I hate having my picture taken -- ask anyone who knows me. I will hide the instant I see a camera pointed in my direction. And it's because I really don't like how I look in (most) pictures. The blemishes, the ever-present under-eye circles, etc etc. So it says a lot (for me, anyway) that I am willing to take my own picture, so that I can show you about our facial retouching and digital makeup services.

I'm not what one would call a girly-girl. I generally don't wear much make-up. Eyeliner, mascara, and occasionally some lip-gloss. So any help from digital make-up is most definitely welcome. :) Here is the before image, with only basic color correction applied. The only makeup I have on is eyeliner and mascara (not that you can even tell!).

Here's the after. I cleaned up the stray hairs, did some basic shaping (the shirt I was wearing was a bit big so I brought it down in size a bit), some skin retouching/softening and applied digital make-up. I now have an image I would (and probably will) post on Facebook.

And the side-by-sides so that you can REALLY see the different retouching and digital make-up can make!

As you can see, blemishes and fine lines can be removed, the skin smoothed and softened for a more flattering look, and digital makeup can be applied to enhance features such as the eyes. We do some degree of retouching and/or digital make-up to every final image we put out for our customers, so that they can show off images that make them look (and feel) their best. :)

Mr and Mrs Jeremy Greenwell

Congratulations to Jeremy and Stephanie Greenwell! These two (and their families) were pretty laid back, considering the stress of a wedding and uncooperative weather. Even though things got changed at the last minute, everything went very well. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day....it was a pleasure meeting everyone and I wish you both all the best in the years to come! :)

E-Session: Jeremy & Stephanie

Such a fun and laid-back couple! I enjoyed shooting with them (and their adorable cocker spaniel Ginger!) today. I'm looking forward to their wedding coming up in a few weeks! :)
